ON 9th JULY 1797 the statesman and the philosopher Edmund Burke died, after having contracted stomach cancer. He was buried in Beaconsfield Church near his Buckinghamshire home. Burke had been a distinguished Member of Parliament but never attained high office. His political career must be judged a failure. However, Edmund Burkes true legacy was contained in his extensive writings. The answer to the question should abortion be legal is a resounding no. There are always alternatives to abortion, despite whether people acknowledge them or not. This is the case, especially, in instances such as a rape or a cephalopelvic disproportion; the cases where people say there is ambiguity in the morality of abortion. Although this is not the most popular answer among citizens, abortion just has no real reason to be legal. Although there will be much opposition to the claim, when abortion is legal, it allows for selfishness, despite its clear alternative. DISTRIBUTION STRATEGIES Currently, SPINE adopts direct marketing channels through online sales from its official weeping and also through third party online distributors such as eBay and Amazon. When adopting a sustainable distribution strategy, the company will look at providing biodegradable and recyclable packaging that enables overall volume reduction when transporting to serve the goal of sustainability. Materials used in the packaging will be in the form of lightweight recycled cardboard boxes that provides good protection but maintain flexibility when it comes to transport efficiency. Information and communication technology is also key to Spine’s sustainable striation as under overstock can be counter intuitive in reaching the goal of creating a sustainable framework. As SPINE uses short distribution chains (products are shipped directly from their warehouse to the customer’s doorsteps) good coordination can increase efficiency, but it should be noted that outsourcing suppliers for recycled materials should be monitored and well communicated to avoid over or under stock in inventory.
